The Clinton Branch will be closed from March 24-31, 2025, as work continues to improve accessibility for all visitors to the branch. The full closure is required to accommodate the installation of a new lift that will provide better access to the children’s area on the second floor of the building.
Closure Dates:
The branch will be closed starting from Monday, March 24, and is expected to reopen by Monday, March 31. Any changes to that timeline will be shared on the Clinton Branch webpage and the Huron County Library’s Facebook and Instagram pages.
We understand that this may cause some inconvenience, and we sincerely apologize for the disruption to in-branch library services. However, these upgrades will significantly improve accessibility for everyone who visits the Clinton Branch.
Alternative Services:
While the branch is closed, our other branch locations will remain open where patrons can access all our in-branch library services. Patrons can also explore our online resources, including e-books and audiobooks, which are available 24/7.
Other important details:
- Any holds available for pickup at the Clinton Branch that have not been picked up before March 24 will not expire and can be picked up when the branch reopens.
- Delivery of library materials to the branch will resume March 31.
- While the book drop will remain open during this time, patrons are encouraged to wait until March 31 before returning any library materials.
