July 15 @ 4:00 pm - 5:00 pm

Discover the many benefits of Nordic walking poles with Amanda from the Maitland Valley Family Health Team. Amanda will guide us through an engaging presentation on the health advantages of pole walking, from improved cardiovascular health to enhanced posture and balance. After the presentation, Amanda will assist the group in properly adjusting the Nordic walking poles to each individual’s height and comfort level. Then, we’ll hit the pavement together for a refreshing walk, putting our newly acquired skills into practice. Don’t miss this opportunity to learn a fun and effective way to stay active while enjoying the great outdoors. Nordic walking poles will be available for borrowing from the library, so everyone can participate!

REGISTRATION: Please contact the Goderich Branch by email goderichlibrary@huroncounty.ca or by phone 519-524-9261 to register.
