Join us all week long for the following activities happening at the Huron County Library:
Bayfield: Terrarium Building with Trash Theatre, 10:30 a.m.-12 p.m. – Build a beautiful terrarium to take home that will take care of itself while you watch the plants grow! Create a miniature ecosystem using native species that can survive for decades without additional watering! Participants will learn about different ecosystems, the water cycle, a variety of species and the importance of biodiversity. We will also sculpt a small clay figure to place inside of our newly created world. This program is intended for children and youth. Registration is required: Please contact the branch to register. Exeter: Curiosity Lab: Mask Making, 1-2 p.m. – Join Trash Theatre to make a 3-D mask of your favourite endangered species using items from the recycling bin. Registration required: Please contact the branch to register. Ages: 5-12
Goderich: Creative Kids: Drawing Animals with Michele, 11 a.m.-12 p.m. – Kids will learn to draw animals making their animals come to life with basic sketching techniques. Registration required: Please contact the branch to register. Ages: 6+
Wingham: Green Screen Fun, 2-4 p.m. – Learn the magic behind using a Green Screen. Registration is required: Please contact the branch to register.
